How do I check a user's logs?

View a user's logs

The event log allows administrators to track actions performed by users in Secure Exchanges.


Step 1 – Access user management

  1. Log in to your account via the Secure Exchanges online portal

  2. Click on Options → User Management

You will have access to the complete list of users under your administration.


Step 2 – Search and view a user's logs

Select the period to view

  1. In the journals section, define the desired period.

  2. Enter the date or date range in the "Event Log Export Dates" field.

Display newspapers

  1. Identify the user in question

  2. Click on the "Journals" button located on the same line

Events associated with this user will be displayed directly on the screen.


Step 3 – Download the logs (optional)

Once the logs are displayed, you can export them for analysis or archiving:

  • PDF – for viewing or archiving

  • Excel – for filtering and analyzing data

  • CSV – for integration into other tools or systems


Step 4 – Understanding the displayed information

The event log provides several key pieces of information, including:

  • date and time of sending;
  • recipient(s);
  • message status;
  • number of openings;
  • expiration;
  • IP address linked to each interaction.

Good to know

  • The logs are accessible only to account administrators.

  • The availability and retention period of logs may vary depending on the type of license.
