The Secure Exchanges portal enables account administrators to update existing user information, including personal details, security settings, and role assignments. This feature is restricted to administrators only.
Step 1: Log in to the online portal
Access your account via the Secure Exchanges online portal. For login assistance, consult the article Log in to the Secure Exchanges online portal.
Step 2: Access user management
Navigate to "User Management" in the left menu under "Licenses and Users." Select the target user and click "Edit User" to open the editing interface.

Note: You can update the first name, last name, mobile phone number, SMS country code, and time zone. The mobile phone number and country code must be entered for the user to receive SMS codes. A landline number cannot receive text messages.
Step 3: Adjust the security settings
Two options are available:
- SMS code or Microsoft authentication for returns (requires a Pro licence)
- Two-factor authentication for portal login
Step 4: Change the user's role
Reassign the user between standard user and administrator roles as needed. Ensure that at least one administrator is always active on the account.
Step 5: Save the changes
Click the save button to apply the changes.
