The Protected Returns feature automatically secures everything your clients send back to you through a Secure Exchanges delivery. It applies to:
- signed documents
- files placed in an envelope
- any content your client sends back using the "Reply" button in Secure Exchanges, after accessing your secure message
When this protection is activated, all returns remain confidential when they arrive in your email inbox.
Note: This feature is only available with Pro licences.
How does return protection work?
- You send a secure message or a confidential information recovery envelope.
- Your client opens your message in the secure environment. If they click the "Reply" button, upload a document, or complete a signature, their return is automatically protected.
- When you receive this return in your email inbox, you must first authenticate to access the content, using an SMS code or Microsoft, depending on the option selected.
