When using Secure Exchanges, for the signing of a document, a visual "seal" is automatically affixed next to the signature, and a date is displayed below to confirm and validate the precise time of the signature.
This seal provides visual confirmation that the document has been signed by Secure Exchanges, thus providing signature validation.
However, if you deem this seal unnecessary, you have the option to disable it. Disabling the seal will remove the visual guarantee of the signature by Secure Exchanges, and the associated date will no longer be displayed.
It is important to note that disabling the signature seal in Secure Exchanges does not affect the security of the signature itself.
To begin, go to the area dedicated to adding signature zones. If you need a reminder of the process, you can consult the following articles to guide you through the signing steps:
You have the option to apply or not apply a signature seal to each individual signature area on the same document. If you choose to use a seal, be careful not to obscure any text.
Subsequently, once you have determined the signature areas, you can choose to disable the "Secure Exchanges Seal" option by unchecking the corresponding box.
Once this box is disabled, the signature validity guarantee seal provided by Secure Exchanges, as well as the date, will no longer be visible.
You will need to follow this procedure for each new document on which you wish to add signature areas. Alternatively, access your signature templates via your online portal to predefine the locations where the signature seal should be used. To do so,
