The Secure Exchanges journal records the activity of your secure messages. You can view it directly from Gmail, using the Secure Exchanges extension, without going through the online portal. This article shows you how to open the logs window and choose the period to display. The procedure takes two steps.
Prerequisites
Step 1: Open your logs from the extension
Click the Secure Exchanges extension button.
The following window appears on your screen.

Step 2: Set the dates and run the search
Set the search dates you want, then click "Get my logs".
Explanation of the columns
The main table displays the following columns:
- R: retrieve a message sent through Secure Exchanges (requires the SESAR licence).
- Date: when the secure message was sent.
- Latest activity: timestamp of the most recent recipient action.
- Subject: subject line of the message sent.
- Status: message state (Open, Unread, Expired, Deleted, etc.).
- Recipient: recipient's email address.
- Number of files: number of files included in the message.
- Activities: number of activities on the message.
- Kind: send type (message, reply).
- Delete: revoke access to a message.
