Configure SPF registration for Secure Exchanges

Configure an SPF record on my domain

Quote

Prerequisites

  • Feature available only with the PRO license

  • DKIM configured on your domain

Warning Before configuring your SPF record, ensure your DKIM is already set up, as this is an essential prerequisite. How do I configure DKIM?

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) registration allows Secure Exchanges to send emails on behalf of your domain, improving deliverability and making your communications look more professional. Once configured, Secure Exchanges can use the user's actual email address, rather than the generic no-reply@secure-exchanges.com address.

Why set up an SPF record?

Here are the key advantages:

1. Sending emails using the user's real email address

The recipient sees emails as coming directly from your professional address rather than a generic one. This increases trust and consistency in your communications.

2. Sending and receiving electronic signatures

Documents to be signed and confirmations are sent and received from your own address, making the process more transparent and personalized.

3. Receiving opening notifications from your address

Notifications related to opening or downloading a secure message come directly from your email address.

4. Submission from the online portal (including mobile)

When you send a message via the Secure Exchanges portal, including from a mobile phone, the sending uses the email address associated with your license.
