How can I check a user’s logs?

View a user’s logs

The event log allows administrators to track actions performed by users in Secure Exchanges.


Step 1 – Access user management

  1. Log in to your account via the Secure Exchanges online portal.
  2. Click Options → User Management.

You will see the complete list of users under your administration.


Step 2 – Search for and view a user’s logs

Select the period to review

  1. In the log section, define the desired period.
  2. Enter the date or date range in the “Event log export dates” field.

View the logs

  1. Locate the relevant user.
  2. Click the “Logs” button on the same row.

The events associated with that user will be displayed directly on the screen.


Step 3 – Download the logs (optional)

Once the logs are displayed, you can export them for analysis or record keeping:

  • PDF – for viewing or archiving

  • Excel – for filtering and data analysis

  • CSV – for integration with other tools or systems


Step 4 – Understand the information displayed

The event log provides several key details, including:

  • date and time of sending

  • recipient(s)

  • message status

  • number of opens

  • expiration date

  • IP address associated with each interaction


Good to know

  • Logs are available only to account administrators.

  • Log availability and retention duration may vary depending on the license type.
