My Outlook connector has deactivated, what's the problem?

My Outlook Secure Exchange connector has become deactivated. What's the problem?

If the Secure Exchange connector in Outlook has become disabled (its status is inactive), this may be related to the license. Here are the checks to perform.

1. Click on "Retrieve my license" (if the button is visible)

Notes
If the "Retrieve my license" button is not visible, it's usually because the license has already been retrieved, but is simply temporarily deactivated. So proceed to step 2.
  1. Click on "Get my license back"

  2. Complete the captcha and click "Send"

Info
You will receive an activation link by email.
  1. When you open the activation email, you will see a message asking you to confirm activation on this device; select "Yes".

Idea
Your license should now be reactivated!

2. Click on the "Inactive" status (If you do not see the "Retrieve my license" button)

If you do not see the " Retrieve my license" button:

  • Click directly on the Inactive status in the Secure Exchanges ribbon.

Very often, the status automatically reverts to " Active" after this click.
