Install and activate Secure Exchanges for Outlook
Identify your version of Outlook
This procedure applies only to Outlook Classic users. If you are using Outlook Classic instead:
- The New Outlook, or
- Outlook Web (browser)
Installing Secure Exchanges is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to install the Outlook Classic extension and then activate your license.
Before you begin: Completely close Microsoft Outlook.
Warning: It is very important not to run the installation in administrator mode.
1. Download the installation files
- Visit our website: Cybersecurity Technology - Secure Exchanges
- Download the two necessary files:
- Plugin for Microsoft Outlook
- To define signature areas in PDF documents via Microsoft Outlook (SEOASF) *Required to use digital signatures.

3. Run the downloaded setup.exe file
- Open your "Downloads" folder.
- Double-click on setup.exe.

- In the window that opens, click on "Install".

Wait until the installation is complete.

4. Run the SecureExchangesOASF.MSI file
Double-click on SecureExchangesOASF.msi .
- Allow the installation to complete.
If your browser displays a warning when downloading the SecureExchangesOASF.MSI file:
Click on the three small dots to the right of the file, then click on keep
- Then click on Keep anyway.

Once finished, click on the SecureExchangesOASF.msi file.
If Windows displays a SmartScreen warning
Click on Additional Information.

Click on Run anyway.
Once the installation is complete, proceed with the following steps to activate your license.
2. Activate your Secure Exchanges license
You will receive an activation link by email.
- When you open the activation email, you will see a message asking you to confirm activation on this device; select "Yes".

3. Check your license status
To verify that the activation was successful, return to the Secure Exchanges tab. Your license status should now display "Enabled".
