What is the role of the SEWD (Secure Exchanges Watch Dog)?

The SEWD (Secure Exchanges Watch Dog) aims to monitor the user's registry keys to prevent Microsoft Outlook from disabling the connector.

If SEWD is unable to perform the task due to organizational policy, the administrator can then add the following registry key via GPO:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Resiliency\AddinList
