How do I disable envelope return opening notifications?

If you no longer want your contact to be notified when you open their return envelope, you can change this setting directly in Outlook.

Procedure

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click the Secure Exchanges tab.
  3. Go to your Settings.
  4. Select the Envelope options tab.
  5. Uncheck the "Notify the recipient when I open their return envelope" option.


  6. Click Save settings to save your changes.
Warning: if you do not click Save settings, the change will not be applied.
