How to keep sent items unencrypted in Outlook

Is it possible to keep my sent items unencrypted?

    By default, Secure Exchanges encrypts sent items to maximize the security of your communications.

Warning Important
We do not recommend storing your sent items unencrypted, as this reduces the level of protection for your data. However, this option remains available if your organization requires it.

Procedure

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. In the top ribbon, click on the Secure Exchanges tab.

  3. Select Settings .

  4. In the settings window, check the following option:
    "Do not encrypt my sent items"

  5. Click Save to apply the change.

The change will take effect immediately for all future emails sent from Outlook.
