How do I update my SESAR service?

To ensure SESAR functions correctly, it is important to keep it up to date. You have two options:

1. Automatic update

To enable automatic updates, access your Secure Exchanges online portal. Once logged in, go to the "Options" tab and then to the "Company Management" page. Next, check the "Automatic Update" box.

Warning
Please note that the update process takes approximately 10 minutes, assuming no interruption of communication. However, if the update has not been completed within 10 minutes, please follow the second procedure below.

2. Manual update

1. Download the latest SESAR update
Go to the Secure Exchanges website to download the latest version of SESAR.
Warning
The installation must be done in the same folder as the previous version!

2.        Check the log file.
Search for " next lookup at" in your logs.

3.        Stop the service.

Warning
If the timeout is in the future, you can stop the service. However, if it is in the past, you must wait for the synchronization to finish.
4. Unzip the SESAR-XXX-zip file into a folder.

5. Run the "sesar.msi" file from the download.

6. Complete the download steps by pressing "next" until the end.

7. Resume the SESAR service.

8. Check the log again to verify if the update worked, identifying the line YEAR-MM-DAY H:MIN:S: SESAR: SESAR service starts with version 2024.06.252.
