As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the security of your electronic communications, Secure Exchanges has renewed its SSL certificate, valid until April 2027. This update is crucial to maintaining the integrity and security of the data you exchange via Outlook.
Importance of the update
To continue using Secure Exchanges in Outlook without interruption, you need to install the new SSL certificate. This update is mandatory, and if it is not carried out, Secure Exchanges will no longer be operational in your Outlook interface.
How do I install the new certificate?
On September 27, 2024, or the next time Outlook is restarted after this date, you will be prompted to install the new certificate. To ensure that Secure Exchanges works properly, click “Install” when this message appears.
If you ignore the update
If you clicked on “Don't Install” when updating the Secure Exchanges SSL certificate on September 27, 2024, Secure Exchanges will no longer be displayed in Outlook.
In this case, please close and reopen Outlook. The pop-up message should reappear, allowing you to install the new certificate.
If the message still does not reappear, please follow these instructions:
1) Go to Outlook under File / Options
2) Press “Add-ons” then “Reach”.
3) Check “OSecure Exchange” and press “OK”.
The message asking you to install the SSL certificate will appear
4) Press “Install
The new SSL certificate guarantees exchange protection until April 2027, reinforcing confidence in the security of communications via Secure Exchanges.
Thank you for your cooperation and vigilance. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support team.
