2025-11-24 Update of the PDFSignForm Tool in Outlook Classic

This procedure explains how to update the Outlook tool Secure Exchanges Outlook Area Sign Form. The update is required to ensure compatibility with the latest changes introduced by Microsoft.

1. Uninstall the previous version of PDFSignForm from the computer

  1. Open the Control Panel.


  2. Click on "Uninstall a program."

  3. Find Secure Exchanges Outlook Area Sign Form in the list, select it, and click Uninstall.
    Warning
    This step requires system administrator rights.



  4. Press Windows + R on your keyboard, then type: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\SecureExchanges in the search bar that appears.




  5. Delete the PDFSignForm folder.

2. Install the new version of the tool

  1. Download the new version from our website.

    The downloaded file will be an .msi file

  2. Once the download is complete, click the SecureExchangesOASF.msi file.

If a security warning appears during the download:

  1. Click the three dots next to the file, then select "Keep"

  2. Click Keep anyway.


  3. Once completed, click the SecureExchangesOASF.msi file.

If Windows displays a SmartScreen warning:

  1. Click More information.

  1. Click Run anyway.

3. Install the tool

  1. The installer will open.

  2. Let the installation complete.


4. Verify the installed version

Once the installation is finished, return to the Control Panel under “Programs.” The version displayed for Secure Exchanges Outlook Area Sign Form should be 25.11.261.
