Beta Version : How to Send a Secure Message with Outlook Web?
Once Secure Exchanges is properly installed and your license is
activated in Outlook Web, you are ready to send secure emails. Here is the procedure:
1. Creating the Message: As usual, click on 'New Message'. Fill in the
recipient, subject, and body of your message, then click 'Send'. A Secure
Exchanges interaction window will appear, as illustrated below:
2. Security Options: In this window, several options are available to you:
Choose what you want to secure: the entire message or only the
attachments.
Decide if you want to use additional security, such as a password or SMS
code.
3. Message Access Control: Determine the number of allowed readings before
the message is permanently destroyed. Set the message's lifespan, from a few
hours up to 30 days.
Automatic Destruction: Once the maximum number of openings is reached or
the lifespan expires, the message will become totally inaccessible and be
destroyed.
4. Secure Sending: Choose 'Send with Secure Exchanges' to finalize the
secure sending.
Standard Sending: If you select 'Send without securing', your message
will be sent in the standard way, without additional security measures.
These steps ensure a secure sending of your
communications via Secure Exchanges in Outlook Web, while offering you the
flexibility to choose the appropriate level of security for each message.
