New Feature – License Upgrade

Account administrators can now upgrade a license (e.g., move from an Advanced license to a Pro license) in just a few clicks, directly from the Secure Exchanges online portal.

Steps to follow for an upgrade

Log in to the portal

Access the Secure Exchanges online portal with your administrator account:

Go to the “License and Purchase Management” section

In the top menu, click on:
Options > License and Purchase Management

Identify the license to upgrade

At the bottom of the page, locate the purchased licenses table:

  1. Find the row corresponding to the current license you want to upgrade (e.g., API Advanced).
  2. Click on the number shown in the "Assigned Licenses" column.
This will display the list of users holding this license.

Select the user to upgrade

In the window that opens:
  • Check the user(s) concerned.

  • In the dropdown menu at the bottom, select the desired new license (e.g., API Pro).

Info
In the upgrade window, the dropdown list only displays licenses of a higher level than the one currently held by the selected user.

Confirm the upgrade

Click the Upgrade button.

A new window will appear, showing:

  • The amount to pay immediately, calculated on a prorated basis from the current license.

  • The renewal amount at the next billing cycle.

Notes
