Secure Exchanges enables a simplified and secure login process with Microsoft Authentication, ideal for Office 365 users or organizations using Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Here’s how to use this authentication method to access the Secure Exchanges online portal.
What is Microsoft Authentication?
Microsoft Authentication allows you to log in to the Secure Exchanges portal using your professional or educational Microsoft credentials. This simplifies the login process while enhancing security through built-in Microsoft protections like Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Steps to Log in with Microsoft Authentication
Access the Login Page
Navigate to the Secure Exchanges online portal.
Select "Sign in with Microsoft"
On the login page, you’ll see two options:
- Enter your license credentials.
- Sign in with Microsoft: Click this button located below the main form.
Enter Your Microsoft Credentials
Once redirected to the Microsoft login page:
- Enter your professional or educational email address associated with your Microsoft account.
Note: Ensure you are using the Microsoft account associated with Secure Exchanges. - Enter your password and confirm.
If an administrator logs in for the first time using Microsoft Authentication, they will have the option to approve and authorize access for the entire organization. Otherwise, users must individually authorize Secure Exchanges to access their information.

Note: If your organization uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you’ll need to enter the verification code to complete the login. If you use both Microsoft Authentication and Secure Exchanges Authentication, both will be required. Warning: If no Two-Factor Authentication is used, you will need to enter an access code sent to your email by Secure Exchanges. 4. Access Your User Space
Once authenticated, you’ll be automatically redirected to your Secure Exchanges portal dashboard.
Protecting Returns with Microsoft Authentication
Secure Exchanges provides advanced features to safeguard the return of documents or envelopes, ensuring enhanced security for sensitive information. Here’s everything you need to know about this feature and how to activate it.
Two primary protection options are available:
- SMS-Based One-Time Code: A code is sent via SMS to verify the sender’s identity before accessing received documents.
- Microsoft-Based Code: A code is sent via Microsoft to verify the sender’s identity before accessing received documents.
Warning: These features are only available with a Pro license.
How to Activate Protection
- Log in to the Secure Exchanges Online Portal.
- Navigate to the "My Account" section.
- Check the protection options you wish to activate.
If you select both protection methods (SMS and Microsoft), you’ll have the option to choose your preferred method when opening secure returns to access documents.
