How to keep encrypted files?

In order for SESAR to keep your encrypted files on disk, you must generate a new public/private key. Keep the private key in a safe place and share your public key with the Secure Exchanges team. (to use SESAR restore you must enter your private key in PrivateFilesKey).

When downloading the files, SESAR retrieves the public key of your account, and encrypts the file in .see format. .see files are proprietary to Secure Exchanges. They are encrypted in 256-bit AES, and the encryption key is stored in the header of the file encrypted with your 4096-bit key. Each encrypted file is broken down into blocks and the blocks are kept randomly in the .see, making it impossible to decrypt them without the 4096-bit private key.
