How to install and activate Secure Exchanges?

Installing Secure Exchanges is quick and easy. Follow these steps to start securing your communications:

For Outlook:

  1. How to install the extension

Before you start, make sure to close Microsoft Outlook.

1.1. Visit our website (Cybersecurity Technology - Secure Exchanges (secure-exchanges.com)) to download the plugin suitable for your email account (Gmail or Microsoft Outlook).

1.2. Click on "Download" to install the necessary plugin.


It is essential to also download the signature plugin if you are using Outlook and want to benefit from our signature service


  1. How to activate my license 2.1. Once the plugin is installed, open your Outlook email.

A new tab "Secure Exchanges" will appear in the Outlook navigation ribbon.


2.2. Click on the "Secure Exchanges" tab.

2.3. If your license is inactive, click on "Get my licence back".


2.4. Validate your email address and complete the captcha to prove you are not a robot, then click on "Send".


2.5. Confirm the activation of the license on your device by selecting "yes".




2.6. Return to the "Secure Exchanges" tab. The status of your license should now indicate "Active".


Congratulations, you have activated your Secure Exchanges license and can now secure your data transfers!

For Gmail:

2.2 Pin the Secure Exchanges extension

2.3 After pinning the Secure Exchanges extension, click on it and enter the captcha to prove you are not a robot. Then, click on "Activate my license"

2.4 After completing this step, you will receive an activation email in your Gmail account asking you to confirm if you want to activate Secure Exchanges. Please click on "Yes" to proceed.


Congratulations, you have activated your Secure Exchanges license and can now secure your data transfers!
