Disabling the Signature Seal.

Secure Exchanges Signature Seal.

When you are using Secure Exchanges for the signature of a document, a visual 'seal' is automatically placed next to the signature, and a date is displayed underneath to confirm and validate the precise moment of the signature.

This seal provides a visual confirmation that the document has been signed through Secure Exchanges, thus ensuring signature validation.

However, if you believe that this seal is not essential, you have the option to disable it. By disabling the seal, the visual guarantee of the signature provided by Secure Exchanges will disappear, and the associated date will also no longer be displayed.

It is important to note that disabling the signature seal in Secure Exchanges does not affect the security of the signature itself.

To start, go to the space dedicated to setting up signature zones. If you need reminders about the process, you can consult the following articles to guide you through the signing steps:

You have the option to apply or not apply a signature seal for each individual signature zone on the same document. Make sure not to cover any text with the seal if you decide to use it.

Subsequently, once you have determined the signature zones, you can choose to disable the "Secure Exchanges Seal" option by unchecking the corresponding box.

Once this box is disabled, the guarantee seal provided by Secure Exchanges, as well as the date, will no longer be visible.

You must follow this procedure for each new document on which you want to place signature zones. Alternatively, access your signature templates via your online portal to predefine where the signature seal should be used. To do this, please click here.
